Account Executive

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Account Executive to manage and grow a portfolio of clients, serving as the primary point of contact for their shipping and logistics needs. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Yerevan, Armenia, and involves building strong relationships, understanding client requirements, and coordinating internal teams to deliver cost‑effective freight solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
• Assess clients’ transportation needs and propose suitable freight solutions.
• Prepare and present service proposals, quotes, and pricing options.
• Negotiate rates, terms, and service agreements.
• Coordinate with operations, finance, and management to ensure smooth shipment execution.
• Monitor active shipments and provide proactive status updates.
• Resolve service issues, rate inquiries, and logistics challenges.
• Identify opportunities for account growth, upselling, and cross‑selling.
• Track account performance and contribute to sales forecasts and reports.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales data in the company’s CRM system.

Required profile

• Strong client relationship management and customer support skills.
• Proven sales and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent organizational and coordination capabilities.
• Analytical and problem‑solving mindset for logistics issues.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English; Armenian or Russian a plus.
• Basic knowledge of freight forwarding, transportation, or logistics processes.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools.
