Data Scientist – Pricing & Optimization

About the role

We are looking for a Data Scientist specialized in pricing to drive revenue growth and cost savings. You will work closely with business stakeholders to translate pricing challenges into data‑driven solutions and lead end‑to‑end machine‑learning projects.

Key responsibilities

• Define, design, and execute ML projects for B2B/B2C pricing, forecasting, and operational metric optimization.
• Collaborate with data engineers to gather required datasets and assess feasibility of production deployment.
• Partner with analysts to design A/B tests, define metrics, and interpret results.
• Develop and evaluate models including classic ML, deep learning, time‑series, and uplift modeling.
• Prepare code and models for hand‑off to the production team and monitor model performance post‑deployment.
• Own model quality, track key metrics, and propose improvement plans when degradation occurs.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist.
• Proven track record delivering end‑to‑end ML projects.
• Strong knowledge of classical ML techniques (feature engineering, classification, regression, boosting).
• Hands‑on experience with uplift modeling and time‑series applications.
• Experience working with business stakeholders on pricing, LTV, retention, and AB testing.
• Proficient in Python and confident in writing clean, reusable code.
• Solid SQL skills for data extraction and analysis.
