Demi Chef de Partie – Culinary Role

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Demi Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at a Marriott hotel in Yerevan. You will support the preparation and cooking of menu items, maintain high standards of food quality, and ensure smooth service during busy periods.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals, cold foods and daily mise en place according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters; pull and thaw items from freezer storage.
• Maintain portion control, food garnish, and accurate food logs.
• Monitor stock levels, report shortages and assist in minimizing food waste.
• Communicate menu specials, out‑of‑stock items and excess food usage to chefs and service staff.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and safety policies.
• Support junior kitchen staff, provide training when needed, and assist management with scheduling and evaluation.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar kitchen role.
• Strong knowledge of proper food handling, hygiene and safety procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and maintain a clean, organized work station.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lb.
