Excel Specialist - Remote

About the role

We are seeking an Excel Specialist to work remotely on a contract basis. You will design realistic business scenarios, create and evaluate Office documents, and provide detailed feedback on AI‑generated outputs to improve model performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and simulate challenging business scenarios using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Engage in multi‑turn conversations with a large language model, presenting complex prompts and reviewing AI‑generated deliverables.
• Create, review, and compare two AI‑generated Office files (.xlsx.docx.pptx) against professional standards.
• Document feedback, side‑by‑side preference data, and quality assessments for the AI training team.
• Contribute domain‑specific insights across multiple industries and business functions.
• Communicate findings clearly in written and verbal formats.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of professional experience in Fortune 500 environments using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Background in roles such as private‑equity associate, investment‑banking analyst, junior consultant, FP&A analyst, HR, or marketing strategist.
• Experience designing use cases for strategy, operations, sales, marketing, finance, or HR.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
• Analytical mindset capable of evaluating nuanced differences in document quality.
• Experience interacting with LLMs or writing long‑form AI prompts is a strong plus.
