Lead Data Analytics and Visualization Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Data Analytics and Visualization Engineer to drive data architecture, business intelligence, and technical leadership for clients across finance, telecom, e‑commerce, media, insurance, oil & gas, and pharma. The role combines hands‑on development with strategic advisory, mentoring a team of analysts and BI engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and inspire a team of data analysts and BI engineers, fostering continuous learning.
• Partner directly with product owners and C‑level stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver interactive demos.
• Establish standards for visualization design, performance tuning, query optimization, and QA testing.
• Design and build advanced dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Architect scalable dimensional models (star and snowflake) and implement central data warehouse solutions.
• Build, manage, and optimize automated ETL pipelines with tools such as Apache Airflow.
• Maintain data quality, profiling, and security configurations (row‑level security, workspace governance).
• Develop advanced analytics models in Python (RFM, ABC/XYZ, CLV) and monitor key metrics (CPA, ARPU, retention).

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience creating high‑performance BI dashboards and data models.
• 1+ years of proven leadership or mentoring experience in an Agile environment.
• Expert‑level SQL knowledge and deep experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server) and columnar/cloud systems (ClickHouse, AWS Redshift).
• Strong understanding of modern data architecture concepts (DWH, Data Lakes, Lakehouses, Data Marts).

Required skills

• Power BI, Tableau, Metabase or equivalent BI tools.
• SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, ClickHouse, AWS Redshift.
• Python for analytics and modeling.
• Apache Airflow or similar orchestration platforms.
• Data modeling (star, snowflake), ETL design, data warehouse implementation.
