Lead Functional Consultant (SAP MM/SD – Retail)

About the role

EPAM is seeking a proactive Lead Functional Consultant specialized in SAP MM, SD and Retail to drive end‑to‑end logistics solutions for a major client. This fully remote position allows you to work from anywhere in Armenia while collaborating with senior stakeholders and a talented consulting team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver comprehensive SAP Retail functional solutions on SAP ECC.
• Own and oversee SAP consulting projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines and budgets.
• Guide master data management, configuration and testing activities performed by the team.
• Act as primary contact for senior stakeholders, facilitating requirement gathering and solution road‑mapping.
• Mentor and coach consultants, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth.
• Lead customer interviews, define project scope and contribute to pre‑sales effort estimations and proposals.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience as a SAP Retail functional consultant.
• At least 1 year of experience leading and mentoring SAP consulting teams.
• Deep knowledge of SAP Logistics, with strong expertise in SAP MM and SAP SD.
• Proven track record managing full project lifecycles and senior stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical and decision‑making abilities.
• Strong written and spoken English (B2+ level).
