Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to lead a high‑impact digital transformation, migrating and modernising a hybrid infrastructure to Microsoft Azure. The position is fully remote within Armenia, allowing you to work from anywhere in the country.

Key responsibilities

• Build and scale robust cloud and on‑premises environments for large‑scale migration initiatives.
• Design and integrate continuous delivery workflows using GitLab, Jenkins and CodeDeploy to achieve zero‑downtime releases.
• Modernise virtual‑machine lifecycle management and provisioning with best‑in‑class operational practices.
• Develop and maintain scalable Terraform modules, enforcing security and governance via Security Groups and RBAC.
• Write maintainable Python and PowerShell scripts to automate operational tasks and complex deployments.

Required profile

• 5+ years of production‑grade experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps Services.
• Hands‑on experience architecting and operating Kubernetes clusters in production.
• Deep understanding of deployment pipelines, continuous integration and release engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Terraform (core) including state management, modular design and secure provisioning.
• Proficiency in Python and PowerShell for automation.
• Excellent knowledge of Git workflows, branching strategies and PR reviews.
• Solid engineering background in systems administration, networking and DevOps culture.
• English proficiency at B2+ level.
