Senior DevOps Engineer – AWS

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep AWS expertise to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Armenia while collaborating with teams across networking, compute, containers, databases, and CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain IAM roles and policies with least‑privilege and cross‑account access.
• Build and manage VPC topology, subnets, route tables, NAT/Internet Gateways, and security groups.
• Provision EC2 instances and Auto Scaling Groups, applying cost‑optimization strategies.
• Configure ALB/NLB load balancers, target groups, health checks, and TLS termination.
• Deploy and operate container clusters on ECS/Fargate or EKS, including autoscaling and version upgrades.
• Manage ECR repositories, lifecycle policies, vulnerability scanning, and access controls.
• Secure S3 buckets with versioning, lifecycle rules, and encryption.
• Maintain RDS/Aurora databases with Multi‑AZ, backups, and performance monitoring.
• Set up CloudWatch dashboards, alarms, and log‑based alerting.
• Handle encryption keys and secrets using KMS and Secrets Manager.
• Configure CloudFront distributions and Route 53 DNS routing.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering with a strong focus on AWS.
• Proven ability to design secure, cost‑effective, and highly available cloud solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with containers, orchestration, and infrastructure automation.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proactive approach.
