Senior .NET Core Backend Developer – FinTech

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join Moneybase’s fast‑growing fintech team. Reporting to the Product Lead, you will work with a group of 50 IT professionals to build high‑performance server‑side solutions for our wealth management suite, core banking systems, and client‑facing platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain .NET Core and C# codebases and core libraries.
• Participate in code reviews and help raise overall product quality.
• Research and evaluate new technologies that align with project goals.
• Standardise development practices across the company.
• Ensure applications meet quality and performance standards, including thorough documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and deploy new features.
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with other departments for resolution.
• Engage in continuous learning and share knowledge with teammates.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of professional software development experience in .NET.
• Hands‑on experience in a banking or financial‑services environment.
• Strong understanding of Test‑Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience building distributed, micro‑service architectures.
