Senior SEO Specialist

About the role

Taxes for Expats is seeking a strategic, execution‑driven Senior SEO Specialist to accelerate organic growth across traditional search and AI‑driven search (AEO). You will own end‑to‑end SEO initiatives, from research and planning through execution and performance analysis, collaborating closely with content, marketing, and leadership teams.

Key responsibilities

• Execute on‑page optimization, content updates, internal linking, and other tactics to improve rankings, traffic, and conversions.
• Develop SEO briefs based on search intent, semantic depth, internal linking strategy, and CTA logic, and work with copywriters to produce high‑performing content.
• Identify backlink opportunities, run outreach campaigns, and build partnerships to strengthen the link profile.
• Analyze international performance, uncover localization opportunities, and support global SEO strategies.
• Improve visibility on AI‑driven platforms such as ChatGPT and Perplexity, monitor AEO metrics, and drive growth in emerging search channels.
• Leverage AI tools for research, content creation, analysis, and workflow automation.
• Monitor technical SEO health, including indexing, crawling, and site performance, in collaboration with developers.
• Track rankings, traffic, conversions, and AEO performance, turning data into actionable insights.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on SEO experience with measurable results.
• Proven success optimizing for the US market, supported by case studies.
• Experience with AEO/AI search optimization and AI‑driven platforms.
• Strong prioritization, organization, and deadline‑management skills.
• Fluent English (B2+), both written and verbal.
