Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to lead the observability and reliability initiatives for our platform. You will work hands‑on with a Grafana‑based stack, AWS/EKS, and modern SRE practices to ensure high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Own the observability charter: build monitoring, alerting, synthetic checks, dashboards and runbooks.
• Define and maintain meaningful SLIs/SLOs, reducing alert noise and improving signal quality.
• Design progressive delivery pipelines with health gates, automated rollbacks and release safety checks.
• Apply performance‑engineering techniques: load testing, capacity analysis and latency profiling.
• Automate operational toil using scripting and infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform).
• Advance SRE maturity with AIOps for detection, diagnosis and reduced manual effort.
• Lead incident response, on‑call readiness and blameless post‑mortems.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, product engineering and tech leads to drive reliability improvements.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps or platform engineering for customer‑facing systems.
• Proactive ownership mindset with ability to spot problems from telemetry before they surface.
• Strong communication skills to translate noisy signals into clear findings and recommendations.
• Upper‑intermediate English (B2+) or higher.

Required skills

• Observability tools: Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, OpenTelemetry.
• Cloud & container platforms: AWS, Kubernetes (EKS).
• Programming/scripting: Python, Bash, Go.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code: Terraform.
• CI/CD pipelines and progressive delivery concepts.
• Performance testing tools: k6, JMeter, Locust.
• Experience with synthetic monitoring, AIOps and Datadog (nice to have).
