Senior Windows Kiosk Imaging Expert

About the role

Intetics Inc. is looking for a Senior Windows Kiosk Imaging Expert to lead the design, creation, and maintenance of Windows kiosk images for a fleet of IoT devices. The role focuses on reliable boot, secure lockdown, and reproducible deployments across multiple hardware revisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Windows kiosk imaging tasks, ensuring boot reliability, lockdown, and reproducible deployments.
• Develop and maintain provisioning scripts (PowerShell, registry policies, ACLs, services, RunOnce entries).
• Configure and manage kiosk lockdown via Shell Launcher, including keyboard filtering and user capability restrictions.
• Create and maintain master images using sysprep with answer files, disk resizing, and Clonezilla capture/restore workflows.
• Integrate drivers for two hardware board revisions and validate hardware compatibility.
• Handle boot chain and firmware issues (UEFI, Secure Boot, custom boot logo) to meet deployment requirements.
• Implement security improvements such as removing plain‑text admin passwords and protecting API keys/TOTP.
• Document all provisioning, imaging, and deployment processes and provide on‑call support.
• Collaborate with technical leads and stakeholders to ensure testing, documentation, and alignment with project goals.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Windows, especially kiosk mode configuration (Shell Launcher).
• Proven experience delivering Windows kiosk environments and master images (Windows 11 IoT Enterprise or similar).
• Experience with large‑scale provisioning, imaging, and maintenance tasks (master image creation, sysprep, disk resizing, image capture/restore).
• Background integrating drivers for multiple hardware revisions and working with real kiosk hardware.
• Prior work on documentation‑heavy projects, providing detailed work instructions and handbooks.
