Maintenance Technician – Guest Services

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Maintenance Technician to respond to guest repair requests and ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. You will work closely with guests and internal teams to resolve issues quickly and maintain a safe, comfortable environment.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate solutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room assets.
• Visually inspect equipment, identify shut‑off valves, and operate utility shut‑offs.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts, and document daily activities for shift handovers.
• Carry out surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood‑trim repairs.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Program TVs, manage housekeeping and engineering inventory, and use lockout/tagout procedures.
• Repair interior and exterior landscaping, including sprinkler systems.
• Input air‑handler schedules and adjust temperature settings using basic computer skills.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems, carpentry, and energy‑conservation practices.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb and perform heavier tasks with assistance.
• Professional appearance, strong communication skills, and commitment to safety policies.
• Willingness to work on a full‑time, onsite schedule.
