Senior Lawyer

About the role

Wise LLC is seeking a Senior Lawyer to independently manage complex corporate, commercial and regulatory matters for local and international clients. The role combines strategic legal advice with hands‑on contract drafting and client relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and resolve complex corporate, commercial and regulatory legal issues.
• Provide strategic, business‑oriented legal advice to corporate clients.
• Draft, review, negotiate and finalize complex commercial contracts and agreements.
• Advise on corporate governance, structuring, restructuring and day‑to‑day corporate matters.
• Prepare and review corporate documentation such as charters, resolutions, shareholder agreements and restructuring papers.
• Offer counsel on labor, intellectual property, tax, civil, migration and administrative law matters.
• Conduct legal due diligence, research and comprehensive risk assessments.
• Identify legal and regulatory risks and propose practical mitigation solutions.
• Represent clients in communications and negotiations with counterparties, authorities and other stakeholders.
• Supervise junior lawyers and legal assistants, ensuring high‑quality delivery.

Required profile

• Law degree (LL.B or equivalent); advanced degree (LL.M) is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a law firm, consultancy or corporate legal department.
• Strong expertise in corporate and commercial law, including governance, contracts, labor, IP, tax, civil, migration and administrative matters.
• Proven ability to work independently, analyse complex issues and deliver practical solutions.
• Excellent written and spoken English; French is an advantage.
