Amazon Cloud Native Python Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Amazon Cloud Native Python Developer to join our remote team. You will work on an event‑driven platform built on AWS serverless technologies, contributing to both architecture and implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Make sound technical decisions, justify trade‑offs, and influence architectural direction.
• Design, build, and maintain event‑driven services on AWS serverless infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (AWS CDK, TypeScript).
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and operational excellence across services.
• Write and maintain automated end‑to‑end tests.
• Collaborate with engineers to evolve platform capabilities and standards.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional experience with Python as the primary language.
• Strong understanding of AWS architecture, VPCs, networking, multi‑account environments, and security best practices.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, and production serverless workloads.
• Deep expertise in DynamoDB (single‑table design, GSIs/LSIs, capacity planning, streams, TTL, PITR, monitoring).
• Experience designing event‑driven microservice architectures and asynchronous communication patterns.
