Senior IT Infrastructure & Network Engineer

About the role

Finbox CJSC is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure & Network Engineer to own and operate its critical payment and ATM network infrastructure. This hands‑on role combines design, configuration, troubleshooting and documentation of servers, networks and security components.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain Finbox’s server, network and connectivity infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls and VPNs.
• Design, configure and administer Fortinet/FortiGate firewalls and network segmentation.
• Manage secure connections between Finbox, ATMs, banks, processing systems and external service providers.
• Maintain Windows and/or Linux servers, virtualization environments and core services.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, capacity planning and performance reporting.
• Handle privileged access, configuration backups and infrastructure documentation.
• Support backup, restore, disaster‑recovery testing and vulnerability/patch management.
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and coordinate with ISPs, data centres and banks.
• Collaborate with the CTO and Information Security team on regulatory compliance (ISO 27001, PCI DSS, CBA).

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in network and IT infrastructure engineering.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP and network segmentation.
• Practical experience with firewalls, preferably Fortinet/FortiGate.
• Experience administering Windows and/or Linux server environments.
• Familiarity with virtualization, monitoring, backup and infrastructure management tools.
• Understanding of high‑availability, business continuity and disaster‑recovery principles.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot complex incidents and produce clear documentation.
• Armenian required; Russian and technical English are preferred.
