Backend Engineer (Golang) – SaaS Platform

About the role

Sensor Tower is looking for a Backend Engineer specialized in Golang to help build and improve its SaaS platform for app market intelligence. You will join a team that processes massive data volumes and delivers actionable insights to thousands of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and release new features for the AppMagic platform.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle, from architecture to production monitoring.
• Work on parsing, data aggregation, API design, refactoring, and performance optimisation.
• Create and optimise complex SQL queries for data analysis and modification.
• Conduct code reviews and propose improvements to tools and processes.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of professional experience with Go (or strong open‑source contributions).
• Solid SQL expertise, especially with PostgreSQL and ClickHouse.
• Commitment to writing clean, testable code that ensures long‑term reliability.
• Product‑focused mindset with the ability to view features from the user’s perspective.
• Curiosity and a proactive approach to problem solving.
