C++ Software Developer

About the role

Broadridge Financial Solutions is seeking a C++ Software Developer to join its fintech team. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality, production‑ready software for financial services applications, supporting both new development and legacy code.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and produce requirements and design specifications.
• Write production‑quality C++ code and associated tests, while supporting existing legacy components.
• Plan development activities accurately and follow established software processes.
• Share knowledge, listen to team members, and evaluate differing technical opinions fairly.
• Communicate effectively with management and peers, meeting commitments and deadlines.
• Participate actively in technical discussions and problem‑solving sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• More than 3 years of professional C++ development experience.
• Proven track record of delivering high‑quality software products.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a desire to learn new technologies.
• Good command of English.

Required skills

• C++ (3+ years).
• Standard Template Library (STL) and Boost libraries.
• Object‑oriented programming, design patterns, classic algorithms and data structures.
• Practical experience on Linux and Windows platforms.
• Multithreading programming and networking concepts.
• Memory dump analysis (advantage).
• SQL knowledge (advantage).
• Familiarity with software development processes and methods.
