Contract Management Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a motivated, analytical, and detail‑oriented Contract Management Specialist to support urban development projects. The role involves overseeing contracts from inception to close‑out, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering contracts, amendments, change orders, and related documents.
• Support contract negotiations to protect commercial and financial interests and achieve balanced terms.
• Coordinate dispute resolution, including liaising with external counsel when litigation is required.
• Monitor compliance with contractual obligations such as payment terms, warranties, insurance, guarantees, penalties, and deadlines.
• Assess and manage contract variations, additional works, extensions of time, and claims, preparing supporting documentation.
• Identify contractual risks, ensure policy and legal compliance, and recommend mitigation measures.
• Track financial and contractual obligations to guarantee timely payments and adherence to contractual conditions.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and logical thinking abilities.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of contract management principles, contract law, and commercial relationships.
• Interest and knowledge of construction contracts, FIDIC contracts, claims management, and contractual risk management.
• Ability to work closely with Procurement, Cost Control, Finance, Legal, and Project Management teams.
