Corporate Lawyer – Financial Services

About the role

Aktina Capital is looking for an experienced lawyer to provide comprehensive legal support for its investment activities and ensure compliance with Armenian financial market regulations. The role involves close collaboration with management, regulators and internal teams to safeguard the company’s operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide ongoing legal support for business and investment activities.
• Draft, review, negotiate and maintain contracts, agreements and other legal documents.
• Advise management and staff on corporate law, securities regulation and related legal matters.
• Liaise with the Central Bank of Armenia, other regulators and governmental authorities.
• Participate in the creation and implementation of internal policies, procedures and corporate documents.
• Conduct legal due diligence and regulatory assessments for new financial products and services.
• Support investment transactions and other business operations.
• Identify legal and regulatory risks and propose practical mitigation measures.

Required profile

• Higher education degree in Law.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in finance, banking, securities or investment sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Armenian corporate, financial and securities legislation.
• Familiarity with financial market regulation; experience with the Central Bank of Armenia is a strong advantage.
• Proven ability to draft and review contracts, corporate documentation and regulatory submissions.
• Excellent command of Armenian, Russian and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
