Country Manager – Ride‑Hailing Operations

About the role

Yandex Armenia is seeking a Country Manager to lead its Yandex Taxi operations across Armenia. The role carries full P&L responsibility, driving market share growth and scaling the ride‑hailing business. You will build and manage a cross‑functional team while partnering with local stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and expand a cross‑functional team of operations, business development and marketing managers.
• Identify, recruit and onboard partners capable of hiring and retaining drivers.
• Analyse partners’ P&L and cash flow to improve economics and launch driver acquisition channels.
• Develop competition intelligence tools and maintain market advantage.
• Ensure partners are trained on driver retention tools and guarantee timely, automated driver payments.
• Build demand partnerships and act as key account manager for major partners.

Required profile

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and inspire a team from scratch.
• Business‑savvy understanding of unit economics, technology‑driven marketplaces, operational efficiency, marketing and finance.
• Data‑driven mindset able to interpret metrics and identify contributing factors.
• Solid knowledge of the Armenian market and experience in business development or key account management.
• Fluent spoken and written Armenian and Russian.
