Data Analytics Engineer – Analytics Platform

About the role

Siemens EDA is looking for a Data Analytics Engineer to design, build, and maintain analytics assets that drive operational excellence across the organization. You will work with large data sets, develop robust data pipelines, and create intuitive dashboards that enable data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and maintain dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights.
• Manipulate and analyze large datasets to uncover trends and patterns.
• Design and maintain data systems and pipelines from ingestion through transformation, storage, and refresh scheduling.
• Develop and manage data models (star/snowflake schemas, semantic layers) supporting complex analytics.
• Collaborate with global customer support teams to create solutions that improve service delivery.
• Work with support managers to drive operational KPI improvements.
• Build interfaces and applications for data access, user management, and control.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt modern technologies in programming, data analysis, and machine learning.

Required profile

• BS/MS degree with at least 3 years of experience in Data Analytics, Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or Data Science.
• Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that improve operations.
• Strong understanding of data lakes, warehouses, data marts, and BI platforms.
• Solid experience with Python and SQL, including dimensional modeling and KPI design.
• Hands‑on experience with Power BI, including visualizations, semantic models, and governance.
