Data and AI Solution Architect

About the role

We are looking for a client‑facing Data and AI Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation and delivery of advanced data lake, migration and semantic data layer projects, as well as generative AI solutions for enterprise customers. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Armenia.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end architecture and delivery of data and AI solutions using Azure, MS Fabric, Databricks and GenAI platforms.
• Design and implement scalable, secure data lakes and distributed analytics systems.
• Integrate advanced AI technologies such as Copilot, Claude and other GenAI tools into business workflows.
• Collaborate with data analysts, product managers, data scientists, engineers and client stakeholders to define requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, governance, mentorship and architectural guidance across multiple project streams.
• Drive data‑governance, strategy and process improvements to ensure data accuracy, security and compliance.
• Document architectural decisions, workflows and implementation guidelines.
• Advise clients on platform decentralisation, operational models and enterprise data product protocols.
• Support presales activities, including proposals, SOWs and RFP responses.

Required profile

• 10+ years of professional experience in data and AI architecture, design and implementation.
• Proven expertise in Azure, MS Fabric and Databricks.
• Strong background in data lakes, distributed scalable applications and cloud security.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Knowledge of GenAI, Copilot and Claude, with familiarity with AI agent frameworks.
• Experience with data governance, analytics and integration with CRM/ERP systems, preferably in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to lead client engagements and provide strategic advisory.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Understanding of data privacy, security and compliance in cloud environments.
• Fluent English (B2 level or higher).
