About the role
We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead Highway’s engineering team that builds the core systems used by financial institutions. The role combines people leadership with hands‑on technical ownership, ensuring that our products are delivered securely, reliably and at scale.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and grow a team of software engineers.
- Own end‑to‑end delivery, defining scope, timelines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with architects to design scalable and secure systems.
- Maintain code quality and regulatory compliance in a fintech environment.
- Promote agile practices, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) and a DevOps culture.
Required profile
- 7+ years of software engineering experience.
- At least 3 years in a management or people‑leadership role.
- Proven track record delivering products in fintech, banking or payments.
