Forward Deployed Engineer/Chief Role

About the role

We are building AI‑native solutions where large language models are the core of the value. As a Forward Deployed Engineer you will lead a team to design, develop and ship end‑to‑end agentic systems for our clients, working fully remotely from any location in Armenia.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and ship AI‑native systems end‑to‑end, including agents, workflows, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) and custom tool‑calling frameworks.
• Develop evaluation pipelines and use them to demonstrate real‑world usefulness.
• Implement robust failure handling in agent loops (retries, model fallbacks, cost limits, human‑in‑the‑loop for critical actions).
• Capture domain expertise and reusable workflows to accelerate future engagements.
• Engage early with clients to shape use cases, assess technical feasibility and validate solutions through interviews, UAT and workflow observation.
• Write production‑grade Python code for integrations, APIs, data access and deployment.

Required profile

• 7+ years of engineering experience with a strong recent track record building production AI/LLM applications.
• Demonstrated judgment in agent design, matching harnesses to tasks and handling failures.
• Ability to lead discovery conversations with clients, work directly with SMEs and explain technical trade‑offs to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• English proficiency at C1 level.

Required skills

• Expert‑level Python and solid software‑engineering fundamentals.
• Hands‑on experience with agentic frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph and Semantic Kernel.
• Experience with major LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini).
• Strong RAG skills: vector databases, embeddings, hybrid search, re‑ranking, chunking and context management.
• Proficiency with evaluation and observability tools (LangSmith, Arize Phoenix, Langfuse).
• Production deployment experience on major clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) including containerisation and CI/CD pipelines.
