Head of Incoming Tourism

About the role

Munich Ventures is launching a technology‑driven tourism business in Armenia and seeks a senior professional to own and build the incoming tourism operation from the ground up. You will shape the business model, create tourism products, and lead the commercial and operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall incoming tourism strategy, targeting key markets and customer segments.
• Design FIT, group, private, tailor‑made, MICE and white‑label tourism products and multi‑day packages across Armenia.
• Build and manage a supplier network including hotels, guides, transport providers, restaurants and other partners.
• Negotiate rates, commissions and partnership terms with suppliers.
• Develop B2B relationships with international tour operators and travel agencies and establish sales and distribution channels.
• Set pricing, margins and unit economics, and take ownership of revenue, growth and P&L.
• Recruit, lead and mentor commercial and operational teams.
• Implement efficient booking, customer service and tour delivery processes.
• Collaborate with technical teams to automate proposals, itineraries, bookings, supplier management and customer communications.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Armenia’s incoming tourism, DMC or tour operations.
• Proven leadership experience in roles such as Head of Incoming, DMC Manager, Commercial Director, Head of Sales or General Manager.
• Deep knowledge of the Armenian tourism market, supplier ecosystem and international sales channels.
