Head of Logistics Department

About the role

Alpha Food Service is transitioning to a new logistics complex and digitising its processes. The company seeks a Head of Logistics to lead a team of around 60 employees across Warehouse Logistics, Delivery, and Supply‑Chain Support, ensuring coordinated and seamless execution of all logistics activities.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the design and rollout of Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Transportation Management System (TMS) solutions.
• Implement WMS and TMS across subordinate units, deliver training, monitor usage, and drive continuous performance improvements.
• Oversee all logistics chain cycles, guaranteeing efficient coordination and smooth operation.
• Apply international best practices aligned with business objectives to boost overall logistics efficiency.

Required profile

• Higher education degree, preferably in Business, Management, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of management experience, ideally in logistics, supply‑chain management or modern manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of logistics and supply‑chain processes.
• Proven ability to lead large teams effectively.
• Strong computer literacy; experience with WMS/TMS is a plus.
• Ability to quickly learn and implement new software and digital tools.
• Fluent in Armenian, Russian and English.
• Analytical mindset with innovative, problem‑solving approach.
• Excellent time‑management and organisational skills.
