Junior C++ Software Engineer

About the role

KX is looking for a Junior C++ Software Engineer to join the OneTick product team. This is an entry‑level position in a fast‑moving fintech environment where you will help build and maintain high‑performance components for capital‑market data processing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop clean, maintainable C++ code for the OneTick platform.
• Debug issues, support testing, and assist with validation efforts.
• Participate in performance analysis and optimisation of low‑latency components.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to translate system requirements into implementations.
• Follow internal coding standards, take part in code reviews, and incorporate feedback.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field (or currently pursuing).
• Strong analytical mindset and problem‑solving ability.
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented engineering environment.
• Good technical English, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• C++ (core language concepts and STL).
• Understanding of object‑oriented programming.
• Familiarity with multithreading concepts.
• Experience with Unix/Linux command‑line tools.
• Use of version‑control systems such as Git.
• Basic knowledge of debugging and profiling tools.
