Lead AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Lead AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer to drive the design, implementation, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure. You will shape DevOps strategy, mentor engineers, and ensure secure, scalable, and resilient AWS environments for multiple customers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute CI/CD strategy across applications, championing automation-first practices.
• Lead complex cloud migration initiatives, optimizing cost, performance, and risk.
• Architect, deploy, and manage secure, highly‑available AWS environments for multiple projects.
• Set and evolve Infrastructure‑as‑Code standards and best practices.
• Act as technical escalation point for CI/CD pipelines and IaC, providing hands‑on guidance.
• Define cloud monitoring and observability strategy, driving proactive cost and performance optimization.
• Own end‑to‑end release strategy, ensuring reliable continuous delivery.
• Mentor and grow engineers, conduct technical reviews, and support professional development.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience managing AWS production systems.
• 2+ years in a technical leadership or lead role.
• Proven experience architecting and operating Kubernetes (EKS) at scale.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices.

• Kubernetes/EKS
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation)
• CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline)
• Monitoring/observability (CloudWatch, DataDog, Prometheus)
• Automation and scripting for cloud environments
