Lead Azure Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Azure Engineer to drive the design, implementation and optimisation of Azure‑based solutions for our clients. In this senior role you will guide a team of engineers, ensure best‑in‑class DevOps practices and align technology with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and maintain cost‑effective Azure cloud environments while ensuring security, scalability and regulatory compliance.
• Develop reusable, high‑quality code and infrastructure‑as‑code templates using Terraform, ARM or CloudFormation.
• Lead DevOps initiatives across the full stack, including CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration and monitoring.
• Create clear technical documentation, support guides and reusable assets for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineering teams and third‑party partners.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.
• Proven ability to architect applications on cloud PaaS services.
• Strong background in full‑stack DevOps, from databases to monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (B2 level or higher).
