Lead DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to drive infrastructure automation, optimise cloud operations and build secure deployment pipelines for our clients. The role is fully remote within Armenia, allowing you to work from home or from our offices in Yerevan or Gyumri.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with project and customer teams to design and implement secure CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Optimize, provision and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, including ARM/Bicep/Terraform templates.
• Deploy and maintain containerised applications in Azure Kubernetes Service environments.
• Integrate monitoring and observability tools such as Microsoft Sentinel and Dynatrace.
• Automate operational workflows with PowerShell, Bash or Python scripts.
• Handle vulnerability management, compliance automation and incident response within DevOps processes.
• Align infrastructure and deployment practices with organisational policies and industry best‑practice.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, infrastructure‑as‑code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform) and Azure Kubernetes Service.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps pipelines and scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Experience integrating monitoring solutions such as Microsoft Sentinel or Dynatrace.
• Solid understanding of cloud security, compliance and audit requirements.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
