Lead Platform Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain internal platforms that empower development teams with self‑service capabilities for deploying, monitoring, and managing applications at scale. This fully remote position allows you to work from anywhere in Armenia, including home or our offices in Yerevan or Gyumri.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate internal platforms that provide self‑service deployment, monitoring, and management for multiple development teams.
• Create and maintain standardized tools, frameworks, and libraries to streamline workflows and enforce best practices.
• Integrate diverse development tools and services into a cohesive platform ecosystem.
• Improve developer experience through comprehensive documentation, training, and support.
• Implement high‑availability, reliability, and performance practices to meet the needs of numerous teams.
• Use DORA metrics to measure and enhance development and operational efficiency.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously evolve the platform.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless application integration.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve platform‑related issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in platform engineering or a closely related role.
• Strong understanding of software development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system and application issues.
