Middle+ QA Engineer – Mobile & API Testing

About the role

ROQ Capital is seeking a proactive Middle+ QA Engineer to ensure the quality of ROQ Markets, a next‑generation brokerage application featuring AI‑powered capabilities. You will work independently across mobile, backend, APIs, data, and integration layers to identify risks, design tests, and verify releases.

Key responsibilities

• Test the ROQ Markets mobile app on iOS and Android platforms.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, negative, and exploratory testing.
• Validate functionality via UI, REST APIs, data, network traffic, and logs.
• Analyze requirements, spot gaps, risks, and edge cases before development.
• Investigate issues across mobile, backend, and external provider layers.
• Test integrations and failure scenarios such as timeouts, retries, duplicate requests, and partial failures.
• Assess regression impact of product and technical changes.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and analysts.
• Prepare clear defect reports with technical context for developers.
• Contribute to test coverage and overall product quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of commercial QA experience.
• Hands‑on experience testing mobile applications (iOS and/or Android).
• Strong practical experience with REST API testing.
• Ability to work independently, challenge unclear requirements, and localize issues using logs and network tools.
