Network and System Administrator

About the role

The Central Electoral Commission of Armenia seeks a skilled Network and System Administrator to manage and maintain its IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable services and robust security.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, deploy and maintain physical servers and network equipment (HP, Dell, Cisco, Sophos, Juniper).
• Administer Windows Server 2019+ and Linux systems, including firmware updates, hardware maintenance, and performance monitoring.
• Manage SAN/NAS storage, backup, disaster recovery and capacity planning.
• Configure VLANs, manage Layer 2/3 switches and Sophos firewalls, and oversee VPN (IPSec, SSL, L2TP) access.
• Maintain SSL certificates for IIS, Apache and NGINX, and administer Microsoft Hyper‑V and SCVMM environments.
• Install and support Microsoft Exchange (including DAGs and hybrid), Active Directory (ADUC, GPMC, PowerShell, ADAC) and related DNS/FTP/web services.
• Handle database installation, backups, migrations and security.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of system and network administration experience.
• Proficiency in both Armenian and English (written and spoken).
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
