Operational Excellence Business Analyst

About the role

SoftConstruct is looking for an Operational Excellence Business Analyst to lead and support business process initiatives that improve efficiency and effectiveness. The role is on-site in Yerevan, with occasional travel of about 5-10%, and sits within the Strategy & Transformation department.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the implementation of key business process initiatives
• Take part in process mapping, data collection and analysis to define business process taxonomy and track KPIs
• Analyze operational data to find cost-cutting and efficiency opportunities, and assess their costs and benefits
• Execute efficiency initiatives, track results and build performance dashboards
• Work with IT and holding company stakeholders to document requirements and test solutions for business process automation
• Facilitate workshops and support continuous improvement across departments

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Finance or Economics
• 2-4 years of experience in business analysis, operations or process improvement
• Certification or coursework in Data Science or Project Management (e.g. CAPM or PMP)
• Fluent Russian and English, with strong communication skills
• Ability to turn business pain points into technical requirements for IT teams, especially for automation/RPA projects
• Ability to calculate ROI and NPV for efficiency initiatives
• Experience building and maintaining automated dashboards to track KPIs in real time

Required skills

• High proficiency in SQL or advanced Excel for data mining and interpreting operational data
• Building automated Power BI or Tableau dashboards
• Leading discovery workshops and coaching departments on continuous improvement principles
