Project Manager (Software Engineering Research)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Project Manager to join our Software Engineering Research department. You will help streamline operations, enable our researchers and engineers to focus on innovation, and ensure that research projects run smoothly from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain robust processes that guide research projects through evolving goals, unexpected outcomes and shifting requirements.
• Provide administrative, organizational and legal support across multiple projects, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations.
• Act as a bridge between the research team and internal stakeholders, fostering transparent and collaborative relationships.
• Coordinate communication channels to keep all parties aligned, informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyze project tasks in depth, verify completeness and accuracy, and define clear scopes and requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in process management for projects with high uncertainty, with knowledge of SDLC considered a plus.
• Technical understanding of machine‑learning and artificial‑intelligence concepts, able to facilitate technical discussions and spot risks.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with strong ability to convey information and align diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills, capable of detailed task analysis and precise definition of requirements.
• Adaptable to fast‑changing environments and able to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing quality.
