QA Engineer (Manual & Automation)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated QA Engineer with strong manual and automation expertise to ensure the quality, reliability and performance of our web applications. The role works closely with developers, product owners and DevOps engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test suites and scalable automation frameworks.
• Create and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases and regression suites.
• Perform functional, integration, end‑to‑end, load, API and UI testing across browsers and devices.
• Manage test data, maintain stable test environments and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify, document and track defects, collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
• Review automation code, mentor junior QA engineers and continuously improve QA processes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups and retrospectives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in both manual and automation QA.
• Strong knowledge of software testing principles, test design techniques and Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience with REST API testing and cross‑browser/device compatibility testing.
• Understanding of SQL and database testing.

• Automation tools: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium.
• Programming languages: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python.
• Version control: Git.
• CI/CD platforms: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps.
• Issue and project tracking: Jira, ClickUp, Azure DevOps.
• Test case management: TestRail, Zephyr, Xray.
• API testing: Postman.
• Database: SQL.
