Senior AI Engineer with ReactJS

About the role

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer who combines deep backend expertise with strong frontend skills in ReactJS. The role is fully remote within Armenia, allowing you to work from anywhere in the country while contributing to intelligent applications powered by large language models and agent‑based architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement async endpoints, background tasks, and streaming responses using Python and FastAPI.
• Develop and maintain agent‑based systems, including prompt design, tool‑calling, and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation pipelines.
• Diagnose and resolve LLM failure modes such as hallucination, context contamination, and non‑deterministic output.
• Optimize retrieval quality through chunking strategies, embeddings, and vector‑search tuning.
• Build and maintain production‑grade React UIs with responsive layouts and streaming state management.
• Identify and fix concurrency issues, shared mutable state, and callback bleed under concurrent requests.
• Operate in Docker and Kubernetes environments, handling deployments and pod/log debugging.
• Write comprehensive test coverage using pytest and vitest, including mocks and fixtures.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience with Python, FastAPI, and asynchronous programming.
• Hands‑on experience with agent frameworks (pydantic‑ai, LangGraph, or LangChain) and prompt engineering.
• Strong background in Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, chunking, embeddings, and vector databases such as Qdrant or pgvector.
• Proficiency in React (hooks) and CSS for building complex, responsive user interfaces.
• Solid understanding of concurrency, request‑scoped state, locks, and thread‑safety.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and container‑based debugging.
• Experience with testing tools pytest and vitest, using mocks and fixtures regularly.
