Senior Data Engineer with Terraform

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong Terraform expertise to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions on Google Cloud Platform. This fully remote position allows you to work from anywhere in Armenia while collaborating with global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable data pipelines using GCP services.
• Create data solutions with BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataform/dbt.
• Coordinate workflows using Cloud Composer/Airflow.
• Handle real‑time streaming via Pub/Sub and Cloud Storage.
• Deploy infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance.
• Coach team members and promote engineering best practices.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with SQL and Python.
• Deep knowledge of GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataform/dbt.
• Proficiency with Cloud Composer/Airflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
• Experience in DevOps practices, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Sound business acumen and English level B2 or higher.
