Senior DevOps Engineer, AWS

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in modern DevOps practices to design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on GitLab, Terraform, Jenkins, AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, and Ansible, and offers full remote work from anywhere in Armenia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins and related tools.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform.
• Configure, monitor, and optimize AWS services, including EKS.
• Collaborate with development teams to deploy micro‑services on Kubernetes/EKS via GitLab CI/CD.
• Lead migration of existing Jenkins pipelines to GitLab, ensuring a smooth transition.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Maintain code quality, scalability, security, and system performance.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions on schedule.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or related engineering role.
• Proficiency in English at B2 level or higher.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication abilities.
