Senior DevOps Engineer, AWS

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in cloud and automation to design, build, and maintain our infrastructure. The role focuses on GitLab, Terraform, Jenkins, AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, and Ansible, and is fully remote for candidates located in Armenia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins and related tools.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Configure and manage AWS services, including EKS clusters.
• Collaborate with development teams to deploy micro‑services on Kubernetes/EKS via GitLab CI/CD.
• Lead migration of existing Jenkins pipelines to GitLab.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Monitor system health, performance and security, ensuring high availability.
• Maintain and evolve the toolchain that enables continuous integration and delivery.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or related engineering role.
• Proven track record with GitLab, Terraform, Jenkins and AWS/EKS.
• Strong scripting abilities in Shell and Python, and experience writing Ansible playbooks.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
