About the role
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve our cloud platform. You will make autonomous decisions, deliver reliable infrastructure, and collaborate with engineering, product, security, and data teams to support a modern, ad‑free social network.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate production infrastructure across multiple AWS accounts and EKS clusters.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, cost‑effective solutions.
- Drive observability, reliability, and developer experience through tooling and best practices.
- Integrate AI tools into daily engineering workflows.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, service mesh, and security controls.
Required profile
- 5+ years of hands‑on DevOps experience.
- Comfort making independent decisions with minimal oversight.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Practical fluency with modern AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Copilot).
Required skills
- AWS (EKS, ECS, Lambda, Batch, S3, ECR, RDS, VPC, CloudFront, SNS, SQS, IAM, SCP, Workspaces)
- Kubernetes and related tooling (ArgoCD, Argo Events, Helm, Karpenter, KEDA, Cilium, Linkerd)
- Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
- Data and streaming technologies (Kafka, Flink, Cassandra, StarRocks, EMR, Valkey, OpenSearch)
- Observability stack (Prometheus, Mimir, Loki, Tempo, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Alloy)
- Edge and CDN services (Cloudflare, CloudFront)
- Security and access tools (Vault, Cloudflare Zero Trust, WARP, JumpCloud, SCIM)
- CI/CD and developer tooling (GitLab, Harbor)
- Service mesh / RPC (gRPC, Protobuf)
- Feature‑flag platform (GrowthBook)
