Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer – Remote (Armenia)

About the role

We are looking for experienced Senior DevOps/Platform Engineers to join our client’s Platform Operations & Engineering team. You will drive modernization initiatives for retail Point of Sale (POS) systems deployed across edge locations, working fully remotely from anywhere in Armenia.

Key responsibilities

• Implement infrastructure enhancements on edge sites using Oracle Linux, Docker, Kubernetes (K8s/K3s), Helm, Kustomize and Ansible.
• Deploy and maintain containerised applications in distributed edge environments.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub, GitHub Actions and ArgoCD, applying GitOps practices.
• Set up observability stack (FluentBit, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana) for logging, metrics and tracing.
• Create dashboards, alerts and support incident response.
• Develop automation scripts and platform tools in Bash and Python.
• Collaborate with Systems Architect and development teams, participating in agile ceremonies.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on Linux administration (Oracle Linux preferred), Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong experience with CI/CD, GitOps and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
• Proven knowledge of observability, monitoring and security best practices.
• Understanding of edge computing, high‑availability and disaster‑recovery concepts.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and mentoring skills in an agile setting.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
