Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Python & Angular)

About the role

EPAM is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to help build a high‑load, enterprise‑grade platform for the Oil & Gas sector. The position is fully remote within Armenia, allowing you to work from home or from EPAM offices in Yerevan or Gyumri.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Python‑based microservices with a focus on scalability and performance.
• Contribute to the frontend using Angular when needed.
• Define and implement robust APIs and integrate distributed systems.
• Participate in critical architecture and technical decision‑making processes.
• Work with Docker containers, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps.
• Deploy and support the platform in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with an Agile cross‑functional team.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience in Python backend development.
• Proficiency with Angular or a comparable frontend framework.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API design, OOP and SOLID principles.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Git and Azure DevOps.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
