Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own the observability and reliability of our platform. You will work hands‑on with a Grafana‑based stack, AWS/EKS, and progressive delivery pipelines to define SLIs/SLOs, reduce alert noise, and improve release safety.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, synthetic checks, dashboards and runbooks for the platform.
• Define meaningful SLIs/SLOs and optimise alert thresholds to improve signal quality.
• Design progressive delivery pipelines with health gates, automated rollbacks and release safety checks.
• Apply performance‑engineering practices such as load testing, capacity analysis and latency profiling.
• Automate operational toil using scripting and infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform).
• Advance SRE maturity by integrating AIOps for detection, diagnosis and reduced manual effort.
• Lead incident response, on‑call readiness and conduct blameless post‑mortems.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, product engineering and tech leads to drive reliability improvements.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps or platform engineering for customer‑facing systems.
• Strong ownership mindset with proactive problem identification from telemetry.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate noisy signals into clear findings and recommendations.
• Upper‑intermediate English (B2+) or higher.

• Python, Bash or Go.
• Terraform and CI/CD pipeline tooling.
• Incident management, on‑call rotation and blameless post‑mortems.
• Synthetic monitoring (API/browser checks).
• Load testing tools (k6, JMeter, Locust) and performance engineering.
• AIOps concepts and Datadog (or similar) platforms.
