Senior Software Architect

About the role

FlowTC is building a multi‑venue institutional OTC platform for large‑scale crypto‑to‑crypto swaps. As a Senior Software Architect you will own the technical direction of the core platform, shaping everything from swap execution logic to the on‑chain settlement layer.

Key responsibilities

• Design and harden the architecture behind OTC and escrow swap execution, ensuring high throughput, correctness, and robust failure handling.
• Lead technical decisions across the full stack, including backend services, smart‑contract layer, and on‑chain settlement verification.
• Own the security and reliability posture of a system that moves institutional‑size capital.
• Evaluate build‑vs‑integrate trade‑offs when adding new chains, custody integrations, and institutional partners.
• Mentor engineers and help scale the engineering team as the product grows.

Required profile

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with proven architecture ownership.
• Strong background in blockchain development; Solidity/EVM required, Solana a plus.
• Deep experience with backend systems at scale in the Node.js/TypeScript ecosystem (Fastify, Prisma or equivalents).
• Track record designing systems where correctness and security are non‑negotiable (fintech, trading infrastructure, etc.).
• Comfortable operating with high autonomy in a small, fast‑moving team.
