Senior System Administrator

About the role

Energize Global Services (EGS) is looking for a Senior System Administrator to join its Yerevan office. You will be responsible for maintaining a multi‑tenant on‑premises Exchange Server 2013 environment while leading the migration to Microsoft Cloud. The role also covers VMware ESXi infrastructure, firewall management, and Linux server administration.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot the Exchange Server 2013 environment and plan its migration to Microsoft Cloud.
• Administer and optimise VMware ESXi infrastructure for high availability and performance.
• Manage Active Directory, enforce security policies, and handle user accounts and permissions.
• Configure, monitor and maintain Next‑Generation Firewalls to ensure network security.
• Administer, update and secure Linux server environments.
• Manage Trellix anti‑malware solution for endpoint protection.
• Operate Windows SCCM for patch management and compliance across Windows systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure a seamless transition from on‑premises Exchange to the cloud.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of systems administration experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Exchange Server 2013, VMware ESXi, and Linux servers.
• Familiarity with Microsoft cloud services and Active Directory.
• Experience configuring and managing Next‑Generation Firewalls.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware VCP, Microsoft Certified, CompTIA Linux+) are a plus.
