Software Engineering Manager – Python Focus

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineering Manager with strong Python expertise to lead and grow our development team. The role combines hands‑on engineering, resource planning, and the creation of a high‑performing, motivated environment for engineers across Armenia.

Key responsibilities

• Guide the software development process, ensuring adherence to corporate and project engineering standards.
• Build long‑term client partnerships, set expectations, and take full responsibility for delivery.
• Define project schedules, prioritize activities, and resolve issues to meet client timelines.
• Participate in overall project design and manage product lifecycle to achieve financial and schedule goals.
• Plan resources for new opportunities and existing business, recruit and onboard talent, and manage internal mobility.
• Conduct knowledge‑management initiatives, identify skill gaps, and arrange training using company L&D resources.

Required profile

• 7+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience with Python and cloud technologies.
• 2+ years delivering projects using Agile methods (Kanban or Scrum preferred).
• Proven ability to lead a team of 15+ engineers and handle people‑management challenges.
• Strong leadership, communication, and English proficiency (B2+).
