Solutions Architect – Digital Engagement

About the role

EPAM’s Digital Engagement Practice is looking for a Solutions Architect to shape next‑generation customer experiences for leading global brands. You will blend strategy, design and engineering to create scalable, AI‑enhanced digital platforms that span content, commerce, data and personalization.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with CMOs, CDOs and CTOs to translate high‑level experience goals into pragmatic, scalable architectures.
• Define solution strategies for composable DXP, headless commerce, API‑first frameworks and MACH‑aligned architectures.
• Produce reference architectures, technical blueprints and narrative guides to support client investment decisions.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, accessibility and regulatory standards such as GDPR, CCPA and PCI DSS.
• Mentor delivery teams to maintain architectural integrity throughout project lifecycles.
• Collaborate with design, strategy and data‑science teams to embed AI‑native capabilities like generative content and intelligent personalization.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in technology roles, including at least 3 years as a Solutions Architect delivering complex digital platforms.
• Proven expertise with one or more major Digital Experience Platforms or commerce systems.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and modern architectural patterns (microservices, serverless, containers, API‑based integration).
• Strong understanding of AI, generative AI and their application in digital experiences.
