System Analyst – Payment Gate (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a System Analyst to join the Payment Gate team at Salmon. You will help ship new payment features faster and with higher quality on a real‑time platform that processes thousands of financial transactions daily.

Key responsibilities

• Work within the Payment Gate team to design, configure, and support the payment hub and payment‑gate infrastructure.
• Translate business and technical requirements into system specifications, integration plans, data models, and process diagrams.
• Define integration requirements and manage data mapping between Payment Gate and connected systems such as core banking, CRM, and third‑party payment APIs.
• Run system testing, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with developers to resolve problems before and after release.
• Identify workflow gaps and propose improvements to the payment feature development, validation, and deployment processes.
• Provide user training and ongoing support to internal teams using the Payment Gate systems.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a System Analyst or in a closely related role, preferably with payment systems or financial platforms.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, API integrations, and enterprise application integration.
• Proficient in creating BPMN diagrams, sequence diagrams, data flow models, and functional specifications.
• Experience working with distributed, cross‑functional teams across different time zones.
